Farm

Cornbury Park extends to over 2000 hectares, split roughly evenly between the following three areas: arable, forestry and deer park/grassland/let farms. The arable land has been farmed in partnership with Velcourt since 1991 and produces feed wheat, milling wheat on contract to Warburtons, malting barley, milling oats, rye for Ryvita, industrial oilseed rape and conventional oilseed rape.

The farm has been a member of LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming) since 1997 and previously the farm was in the ESA (Environmentally Sensitive Area) scheme and the CSS (Countryside Stewardship Scheme).
Currently we are in the ELS (Entry Level Stewardship Scheme). This includes over 30km of 6m margins, 26ha of uncropped areas and 27km of hedgerow management. Voluntarily Cornbury has established areas of wild bird cover / food and fallowed a further 13ha. Cornbury Park is also a member of the ACCS (Assured Combinable Crops Scheme).
